Five Is This Week’s Number

Five is the number this week for us.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we had high temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  This is not normal for Wisconsin in January!  But I’ll take it.  Even though I have lived in Wisconsin all of my life, I still don’t like the cold and snow.

Thursday we hit another five, but this time it wasn’t temperature.  We received 5 inches of snow.  Yes, snow.  I woke up in the morning and there was no snow on the ground.  By 5:00 pm, we had the shovels and snowblower out.  This morning we’ll have to go out again and clean up the last inch or so.  As I said, I don’t like the cold and snow so this was not a pleasant day for me.  Now this morning I looked outside and it seems the snowplow knocked down my garbage can so I’ll have to go out and pick that up before the garbage truck comes.  Remind me why I live in Wisconsin?

Today I would rather be somewhere warm.  Maybe on the Disney Magic® who should be arriving at Castaway Cay this morning.  Or maybe the Disney Dream®, making a call on Nassau today.  What about the Disney Wonder®, arriving for a second day in beautiful Cabo San Lucas!  Just don’t send me to see the Disney Fantasy®, Germany is a bit chilly for my tastes now!

But this brings me back to the number of the week.  When I went to bed last night Travel On A Dream had 495 Facebook fans.  Five away from 500!  Can we get up to 500 fans today?  Come visit us on Facebook.  We always try to bring you all the latest Disney news and promotions, along with other vacation destinations.  We look forward to “seeing” you there!
